Meet Morel the Mushroom Wisp. A handmade crochet woodland character with a pale wisp body and a wonderfully colourful removable mushroom cap. Lightly weighted for stability and perfect for mushroom lovers, cosy homes and thoughtful handmade gifts

Morels removable cap is crocheted in the richly variegated Firelight Forest colourway . As the yarn flows naturally through every cap, each Morel develops his own unique colour placement whilst keeping the same curious personality, features and story.

Story ☁️

Meet Morel, the Mushroom Wisp.

Morel drifts through the woodland like a pale wisp, carried wherever he is needed by the woodland breeze. When he senses something fading - a thirsty tree, a wilting flower, a weary animal or a person whose light has dimmed, he settles quietly beside them and roots himself into the earth

Beneath the ground, his magic spreads through an unseen network, much like mushroom mycelium, carrying rest, nourishment needed for regeneration.

Sometimes Morel appears outside a cottage door or among the mushrooms in the garden. After dark while the household sleeps, his magic travels through the mycelium beneath the foundations, glowing softly like threads of moonlight. Tiny sparkles shimmer beneath the floorboards rising softly through the cottage until they reach the sleeping household where they settle like a warm blanket. Soothing tired minds, restoring weary bodies and weaving gentle dreams until dawn arrives. Once a little colour and strength have returned, Morel releases his roots, becomes a wisp once more and floats away in search of the next tired corner of the woodland..

Looking after Morel🍄

.Display indoors, away from prolonged direct sunlight and damp conditions.

.Gently dust with a soft dry cloth, or soft brush if needed.

.If Morel or his mushroom cap becomes squashed, gently reshape them with your fingers.

.Do not machine wash, handwash or immerse in water, as Morel is stuffed and lightly weighted.

.Keep away from naked flames.
